Religion: Playing a Role On Path to Peace in Southeast Nigeria
Peace is simply the absence of war. Conflict, on the other hand, is as old as the human race and it is unavoidable in every society, as it is an active disagreement between people with opposing principles, goals, interests or opinions. To the extent that all the above ingredients exist within a society, to that extent is conflict unavoidable. For a society to progress, there must be the acceptance of the peaceful coexistence of all within that space. Therefore, conflicts are meant to be resolved.
