Omalicha 91.1 FM is an independent development-focused radio station based in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, Nigeria. Launched in March 2023, the station is rooted in a mission to use broadcasting as a catalyst for social change, community empowerment, and sustainable development. She named the station “Omalicha” — meaning “beautiful” in Igbo — to symbolically anchor its mission in creating a beautiful, informed, and empowered community through radio.
